Your Birth & Postpartum Doula
Here’s how I approach care; with steadiness, adaptability, and support that bends with your needs.
I’m so glad you’re here.
My work centres on birth and the changes that come with it; new roles, big feelings, and recovery. I create a steady, honest space where you can make choices with confidence and feel supported every step of the way.
My Path to This Work
I was drawn to birth work because it was the closest thing to magic I could find. Watching women move through such a raw, feral transformation, seeing them come apart and then rebuild stronger, made me want to be part of that process in a meaningful way.
Over time, I’ve learned that support during birth and postpartum can’t be rigid or one-size-fits-all.
Birth is unpredictable. Postpartum is unpredictable.
My role is to stay adaptable, meet you where you are, and make sure you never have to go through it feeling alone. I like to call myself the ‘grey area doula’ because no part of my support is rigid, I adjust how I show up so it meshes with what you need most.
I work intuitively, paying attention to the details you might not even realize matter. If something needs to be done, I take care of it without you having to ask. My goal is to create a stable, grounding presence so you can focus fully on yourself and your baby.
What I Believe.
Birth changes everything; your body, your rhythms, your sense of self. You deserve support that feels safe, adaptable, and truly present through it all. Plans can shift, feelings can change, and that’s okay. Support should meet you where you are, not the other way around. You don’t have to have every detail figured out to be ready for what’s ahead; you just need to know you’ll be surrounded by care, guidance, and the reassurance that you’re not alone.
Who I Work Best With.
I work best with clients who want grounded, steady support through birth and the weeks that follow. My approach works best when there’s mutual respect, open communication, and a willingness to lean into the support we create together. This is an intimate, often vulnerable season, and the most meaningful work happens when we approach it as a team; with truth, honesty, and a shared commitment to making the space as supportive as possible. You should feel comfortable with your doula; that sense of ease is important. Most people know within the first few minutes of chatting whether it feels like the right fit, and that connection is where trust begins.
What Grounds Me.
When I’m not with clients, I’m outside—running forest trails, hiking, or logging miles toward my next marathon. Running keeps me connected to my body and breath. I like the discipline of training and the easy pace of long mountain runs in the summer.
At home, small rituals steady me: that first sip of strong coffee in the morning, listening to the rain at night, and mixing herbal remedies in the kitchen. I’m married to the most supportive partner, and we share our home with two chaotic cats.
I’m an avid reader, mainly of psychological thrillers, literary and historical fiction, and fantasy. If I can find a book I like enough, I will devour it in one sitting! If you’re also a reader, we’ll have plenty to talk about—I love swapping recommendations and hearing what stories people can’t put down.
Creative work pulls me back to myself. Some days that looks like writing poetry or painting quiet landscapes; other days it’s mixing herbs or shaping clay at the wheel. Pottery is my newest obsession, it’s messy, grounding, and I’m completely addicted. I lean into more of a holistic lifestyle in practical ways, choosing natural options when they make sense.
These rhythms keep me grounded and help me show up to this work calm, clear, and present.
