Date & Nut Energy Bites
Quick, portable snacks that give steady energy without a sugar crash.
Ingredients :
1 cup pitted Medjool dates
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almonds or cashews
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tbsp nut butter (almond or peanut)
Pinch sea salt
Directions :
Pulse dates in a food processor until they form a sticky paste.
Add oats, nuts, flax, nut butter, and salt. Blend until combined.
Roll into 1-inch balls. Chill in fridge for at least 30 min.
Tip: Store in the freezer and pack 3-4 in a small container for a hospital bag. Easy to nibble between contractions.
